Students started class with a warm-up on solving systems of equations graphically; Students then worked on a discovery activity of parallel and perpendicular lines; As a class, we discussed that parallel lines have the same slope and perpendicular lines have opposite reciprocal slopes HW: Half Worksheet handed out in class Announcements: Formative Assessment 1 on FRIDAY (objective sheet passed out today!!) We started class with a warm-up about our vacation and our goals for Unit 4; We then completed a foldable to refresh our memory on graphing from Standard Form; Students then completed 6 practice problems (to finish for HW); Finally we started talking about systems of equations HW: Finish In-Class worksheet (graphing 6 Equations in Standard Form) E.C. from break DUE TOMORROW!! Announcements: Formative Assessment 1 FRIDAY!!! In Class: We went over last night's HW key (which is attached under Tuesday); Students then got to see and go over their Formative 2 Assessment; Then students had time to work on HW HW: Piecewise Wks. 2 (attached) **Key is also attached Announcements: SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT TOMORROW!!
